What’s a great cooking book for beginners?
I’m 19 and have never even turned our stove on before.. I’ve never boiled water unless it’s in the microwave. I’m not sure on things like tea-spoons, table spoons, etc. What’s a good book for me to look into purchasing? Something preferably with pictures that starts with the very very very basics with some simple, but practical recipes.
Fanny Farmers is the cook book i started out with 35 years ago when I was a kid, and it was my grandmas. @ 21 I started baking professionally (self taught with fanny) and worked for 26 years at the same country club. I still have that same cookbook I started with @ the country club. lots and lots of advice in that book and on the inside covers.
