What causes recurring Staph infections?
I was diagnosed with impetigo~~2 yrs ago, I applied bactraban to nasal cavity, it lasted ~~3 months. Last month I had a deep abscess to the postr left knee and was treated with IV vancomyocin. One week later I had a skin boil.abscess that turned into lymphadenitis witn in 12 hours. I work in a hospital and as a practice I use alcohol based hand sanitizer before and after patient care in combination with using gloves. Is it possible that all the hand scrubbing is killing my good bacteria?
