Boils Sores on the Skin

boils sores on the skin

Oh no, is this a burn on my face or a sore?

I spent Sunday driving around with the sun RIGHT on my face. It wasn’t an extremely hot Florida day, but I didn’t have sunglasses on. By that evening, my upper right cheek puffed up. Then by the next morning it looked like a bunch of little boils.. kind of like a cold sore. It’s warm to touch.

My skin is usually pretty sensitive, and the sun does cause me to get cold sores if I don’t wear chapstick. Is it possible it’s a sore from the sun? And am I okay using abreva on it?

Thankyou— I will be going to a Dr. to ask about this, but not for a week or so. :)

it could be blisters from the sun very much like you burn your self with hot water and it blisters, be very carefull what you put on it, if i were you id forget what ever you are putting on it
just bathe it in cool water and let it dry out
as if it is blisters they will be sore once they burst and water comes out of them ,once that happens it needs to dry out so you dont get infected

Fortunately, there is a very safe and effective treatment for boils. It disinfects the area of the boil, prevents the infection from spreading, and helps to speed up the healing process. For information on how to best treat boils and carbuncles, follow this link to BoilX
