home remedy for boils
Need a home remedy for boils that REALLY works.?
It is on my outer thigh and spreading — about the size of my palm. There is a little drainage already.
Your boil sounds very large. Below are a few things you can do yourself at home that are usually very effective — at least they have been for me. But if there is no improvement right away, get yourself to a doctor.
Castor Oil — Put some Castor oil on a cotton ball and place it on the skin. You will need to secure it with gauze or a Band-Aid. Castor oil will draw the poison right out of the boil and can heal it in as little as two days.
Iodine — If you put iodine on the boil, it will soak into the skin and help kill the bacteria infecting it. You can buy povidine-iodine at your local pharmacy store.
Epson Salts — Some people find it helpful to take an Epson salts bath. The instructions for how much to use is on the package. Epson salts is known to draw toxins out of the skin.
Hope this is helpful.
Fortunately, there is a very safe and effective treatment for boils. It disinfects the area of the boil, prevents the infection from spreading, and helps to speed up the healing process. For information on how to best treat boils and carbuncles, follow this link to BoilX
