what did i do wrong? syrain rue had no effect.?

i think i must have a strong body or something. i made a strong tea out of Syrian rue. i boiled the water first, then added the rue, then boiled it for abit more and later strained it. it was at least 4 grams and nothing happened when i drank it. my head it felt about heavy but that was all. what should i do next time? by the way i would recommend it for people with depression.. it some how cures people and made me a different person ever since. and as for the people out there that are naive its a natural herb not a drug. so keep your cmments to yourself thankyou!
