Are Boils Contageous

HELP!! BOIL ON LEFT LIP OF THE PU..Y!!?

My twin sister has a boil and she doesn’t t know what to do anyone has any knowledge of this?? any type of oitment to wear? is it contageous? oh she also told me that she hasn’t had any activity..thanks

These are not unusual with women. They are usually caused by ingrown or infected hair roots. She should try to leave it alone, don’t squeeze it or the infection can spread. Wash it gently with a warm wet cloth, use neosporin and it will come open by itself in a couple of days. If it is just a boil, it is not contagious. If from a STD, it could be contagious.
