what causes boils in armpits
Boils all over?
I’m a 20 year old male. Roughly 300 lbs and about 6 feet tall. Bathe at least once a day.
In the last month, I have been getting boils all over. They started on my arm, then I got them under my armpits, I had one on my scrotum, and now they’re on my legs. They hurt when I put pressure on them. For example, I have one near my elbow which hurts everytime I put my arm on the table.
What can be the cause of this? I have been using an antibacterial soap since they started appearing and using an antibiotic oinment on the boils. This has helped a little but.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I drink at least a gallon of water a day to detoxify my body.
For starters, they’re often genetic. If one of your parents gets them, then you will. Secondly, it’s hygeine. Regardless of you bathing daily and using antibacterial soap, boils are caused by staph getting into the pores and causing infection. Kind of like an over grown pimple. The antibiotic ointment can actually be making them worse by trapping the staph in the pores and not letting them get out. Try to avoid sweating while you’ve got these – unless you shower right away. Sweating will clog the pores and make them break out more. Make sure you wear loose fitting clothing and sleep on cotton sheets.
